A Weekly Guide to Praying for the Morrells

Spiritual Life Ask God to refresh the Morrells from His word and to strengthen them as they wait to travel to Argentina. "We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and shield.  In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name" (Psalm 33:20-21)	Home School Pray the James and Donelle would have wisdom in the lessons they prepare and teach.  Ask God to open the hearts and minds of the children to learn, "For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding" (Proverbs 2:6).	Contacts Ask the Lord to provide opportunities with churches for the Morrells to share about the ministry in Argentina.  Pray for their full support. "In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now" (Philippians 1:4-5).	Family Relationships Pray that God would keep James and Donelle's marriage strong.  Pray that the children would grow "in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2:52).	Preparation Ask God to help the Morrells to keep practicing their Spanish and to continue to prepare for work on the field. "Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed" (I Peter 1:13).	Assurance Pray that the Morrells would not grow discouraged, but that they would be sure of God's calling and His timing. "Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promises is faithful.  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. (Hebrews 10:23-24).	Provision Ask God to provide for the daily needs of the Morrells and to give them good health.  "My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19).
