“Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.” Psalm 119:27 The more that we understand the Lord and His goodness to us, the more we are filled with praise for Him. God has blessed us the last couple of months with opportunities to share of His love and what He is doing in us and through us.  We give thanks to the Lord for giving us the opportunity to glorify His Name.
“Come and see the works of God…” Psalm 66:5a We have arrived back in Maine now and are settling into our home and ministry here as we await the Lord’s timing to go to Argentina. We have gone many miles and the Lord’s hand has been upon us throughout the journey, but it was not without lite and momentary struggles. As we entered the state of Wyoming, the axle fell off the trailer at 11pm. One might say that the timing of this was very poor, but we know that God’s timing is always perfect. The next morning we discovered that there was a trailer sales and repair business just six miles away and the technician had nothing to do that day, so they were able to fix it right away. While we waited, we were able to take the kids to a dinosaur museum in the next town over. Even better than both of these blessings, James had the opportunity to witness to the museum owner and also give testimony to the glory of God to the trailer business owner. Please pray that God would continue to water the seeds that were planted.

While in WA we were pleased to have the kids participate in the art class at Peaceful Glenn Christian School. They had a five week program which had an emphasis in missions. Each week they had a missionary that spoke in chapel and then did an art project centered on that culture. We asked how we could help in that and discovered that they were looking for a missionary from Mexico. We have been on many mission trips to Mexico, so we were able to meet that need. We thank the Lord for using us in ways that we would never expect. Please pray that the Lord would continue to work in the hearts of these young people to have a desire to serve the Lord where He leads them.

Kid's Korner

During our stay in Washington we had the privilege to go to our grandparent’s house every Wednesday. We enjoyed spending time with them as well as our aunts, uncles and cousins. We were also able to participate in the AWANA program at Emmanuel Baptist where we were staying.
We went to a couple of mission conferences while we were there. The first one that we went to had at least six other missionaries as well, but one of highlights for us was what we found on one of the missionary’s table. They had chocolate covered crickets! Most of us tried one, even Mommy, and they were actually pretty good.
We are home now and in our own house and beds. It is so good to see the friends that we have been missing this year while we were away.
